Absolutely! Ringshall Grange is a wonderful place for families of all ages. We provide:
Travel cots and toddler beds
High chairs, toilet steps, and training seats
Children’s books, toys, and games
The house and gardens are perfect for family get-togethers — but please note that there is open, unfenced water on site, including moats and ponds. Children must be very carefully supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
Just let us know what you’ll need when you book, and we’ll make sure it’s ready for you.
Can we bring dogs?
Yes — well-behaved family dogs are very welcome, and there’s no extra charge.
We simply ask that dogs are kept on leads outdoors, off the beds and furniture, and that you clean up after them.
Can we host weddings or events?
Sorry — weddings, stag parties, retreats, or ticketed/commercial events aren’t permitted.
Ringshall Grange is run as a self-catering holiday home, not an event venue.
That said, hen parties are very welcome! We just ask that celebrations stay respectful of the house and neighbours, especially in the evenings.

Check-ins are available on Mondays, Thursdays, or Fridays, with flexible options:
Midweek stays — 3 or 4 nights (from Monday)
Weekend stays — 2 or 3 nights (from Thursday or Friday)

Everything you need for a comfortable stay — no hidden extras!
Your stay includes:
VAT, heating, and firewood
BBQ gas and pizza oven use
Towels, bed linen, dressing gowns, and slippers
Organic shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion
Cleaning products, toilet rolls, and professional cleaning
We want your break to be as relaxing and easy as possible.
Do we need holiday insurance?
Yes — absolutely. All guests must take out holiday insurance to cover cancellations or unexpected issues.
You can choose any provider you like, or use the independent company linked on our website (we’re not affiliated). Please make sure your policy covers illness, family emergencies, travel disruption, bad weather, or other unforeseen events.
As a small family business, we can’t refund cancellations outside our standard terms, so insurance is essential.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, plenty! We have ample private parking on the gravel drive for multiple cars. We just ask that cars are parked considerately and kept off the lawns.
Is there an EV charger?
Yes — there’s a dedicated electric-vehicle charger on site for guest use. It’s simple to use — just download the app shown on the charger and pay directly for whatever electricity you use during your stay.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, there’s free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house. Mobile reception in the countryside can vary a little, but Wi-Fi calling usually works perfectly.
Is there a local shop or pub nearby?
Yes! The nearest shop is about a 10-minute drive away, and there are several supermarkets and restaurants in nearby Stowmarket (also around 10 minutes by car).
The nearest pub is a lovely 40-minute walk away — a friendly community pub that’s very welcoming to our guests, with a beautiful walk across open countryside to get there.
There are also lots of other great pubs within a 10-minute drive if you prefer to head out by car.
All our favourite local spots are listed in your online Guest Guidebook, which you’ll receive before your stay.
Do you provide cleaning or housekeeping during the stay?
Your booking includes professional cleaning before and after your stay, so you can simply unpack and relax.
We do, however, ask that guests leave the house tidy and in a similar condition to when they arrived — dishes done, bins emptied, and furniture back in place. For longer visits, we can sometimes arrange mid-stay housekeeping if requested in advance.
What if something goes wrong during our stay?
We’re nearby and always happy to help. If anything stops working, breaks, or needs attention, please let us know straight away.
We’ll do our best to resolve it quickly so you can get back to relaxing and enjoying your time here.
What if there’s bad weather or snow?
We know how unpredictable British weather can be! If snow, storms, or flooding make travel difficult, please contact us as soon as possible.
However, as per our Terms & Conditions, refunds can’t be issued for travel disruption, so please make sure your holiday insurance covers you for this.
How will we get arrival information?
After booking, you’ll receive our online Guest Guidebook a few weeks before your stay.
It includes directions, check-in details, house information, and local recommendations — everything you need to settle in smoothly.
